The problem

Every one of those homes needs grab bars, railings, better lighting, safer bathrooms, and someone they trust to keep it all working. That's the business.
The business

Home safety assessments, grab bars, railings, bathroom and accessibility modifications that help seniors stay in their homes.

Monthly or quarterly visits to handle the to-do list: batteries, light bulbs, filters, caulking, seasonal upkeep. Recurring revenue from customers who stay.

Repairs and projects for busy families, real estate agents getting listings ready, and commercial properties.
Home care agencies take care of the person. TruBlue takes care of the house. The two work hand in hand, and many of your best referrals will come from people who care for seniors.
The numbers
Gross revenue for franchised TruBlue outlets, as reported in Item 19 of the 2026 Franchise Disclosure Document. Gross revenue, not profit. Results vary by owner and market. There is no assurance you will do as well.

Your role
TruBlue owners don't need handyman experience. Your job is to lead a team, build referral relationships with senior care providers, real estate agents and community organizations, and run the business. The technicians do the work.
Know what the work asks of you
Your success depends on two things: finding and keeping skilled technicians, and earning the trust of the people who refer seniors to you. Neither happens automatically. Ask current owners how long it took to build their referral network, how they hire, and what their maintenance plan customers actually renew.
Who it fits
The Franchise Insiders

We're franchise owners ourselves. Jack helped scale TheKey Home Care's franchise system from 30 to more than 250 locations and was on its leadership team through its private-equity sale, so we know senior services from the inside. Jill spent fifteen years in marketing and enterprise sales, including at IBM and Wynn Las Vegas, before co-founding The Franchise Insiders.
We'll help you read the Item 19 line by line, check your territory, and talk with current owners before you invest. If TruBlue isn't right for you, we'll tell you.

Our Team
Most franchise consultants have studied FDDs and attended Discovery Days. Our advisors have also operated franchises. We've managed employees, navigated slow ramp-ups, and learned that a business can be easy to buy and hard to sell.
That operating experience changes how we help you evaluate an opportunity.
